    "Kathakali" is the most popular festival of Kerala.It is also well known all over India.It is basically a dance-drama festival.It is believed to have emerged from other traditional artforms like Kootiyattam and Krishnanattam.Kathakali posseses a rich literature of its own which also explicate some ideas from Indian mythology.
