Kerala's attire is mainly characterized by elegance and simplicity.
Though it is difficult to find people in their traditional attires these days except for some special occasion yet they maintain the simplicity.Like every place,dresses in Kerala are also made in accordance with the climate.
Mostly people wear simple and untailored clothing.It is mostly loose and light on body due to the hot and humid climate.
The traditional dressforms are "Mundu" and "Neriathu" worn by both men and women.
The dress codes and trends have changed marginably with the changing fashion and designing.
eNowadays men are taking to T-shirts,trousers,kurtas,jeans,etc and women to North Indian style churidar.
Yet when at home all are dressed traditionally to cope up the hot climate and humidity.
